Founder | Visionary | Director | Producer | Arranger of Story— Kai LeRwa aka Kai Streets

Kai, a Pomona, California native, is deeply passionate about exploration, mental wellness, and the art of fatherhood. With an innate sense of discipline, creativity, and vision, he's dedicated to the craft of storytelling. His love for directing viewers' perspectives within filmmaking and storytelling fuels his desire to evoke emotions and craft compelling narratives.

Kai's fascination with visual storytelling ignited in 2005 while curating art shows at his underground hip-hop culture inspired coffee shop, The Blue Nile in Long Beach, California. Inspired by urban decay-exploration photographers from SleepyCity.net as well as local explorers like Mike Shields and Rocco Myers, he embarked on his photography journey in 2007. Starting with a Canon Rebel XTI digital camera and shortly after a Canon AE-1 Program film camera, he delved into capturing urban decay—abandonments, underground tunnels, and the enigmatic nocturnal cityscapes—exploring the raw beauty of nature’s process when untapped by mankind.

Under the alias StreetSilence, his commitment to the craft solidified. Progressing from solitary landscapes, he introduced human subjects, evolving into artists’ portraiture and eventually laying the groundwork for music videos, album covers, and artist profile backdrops, nurturing his love for storytelling through film. In 2010, he opened StreetSilence Gallery/Studio in the historic Pomona Art District, becoming a space for other urban explorers to share their work and connect with like-minded photographers and visual storytellers.

Now, over a decade later, Kai has collaborated with renowned brands like Netflix, Complex Networks, First We Feast, RedBull, Pigeons and Planes, pgLang, SOUNDRAW, EAE, Capsule Barber Shop, Creative Bliss, BuzzFeed, Ciroc, LOUDBABBS, and Turner. Working alongside artists, entertainers, athletes, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, Kai's diverse portfolio includes commercials, interviews, music performances, music videos, artist profiles, and compelling documentaries and docu-series. Notable projects feature collaborations with Pharrell, Seth Rogen, Kendrick Lamar, Kobe Bryant, Lana Del Rey, Dr. Dre, Bailey Sarian, Steph Curry, Ziggy Marley, Jaden Smith, BLXST, Common, Andra Day, Adrian Gurvitz, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Migos, Two Chains, Princess Nokia, Quavo, Morray, and DREAMDOLL. With a passion for authentic storytelling, inclusivity, and diverse narratives, Kai continues to leave an indelible mark on the industry.

Over the last couple years, Kai has undergone an evolution, intertwining his roots in street culture with his affinity and deep understanding of nature’s transformative powers.
